I started off juggling at the age of about 7, so I had a bit of a head start to a lot of people. Although this is not a skill that cant be learnt later in life. Old dogs can be taught to do new tricks!
The first thing to come to terms with is that these things don’t happen quick. You are going to get very annoyed before getting any good. Your back muscles will become very strong after bending down and picking up balls over and over. (Don’t worry the joy of bending down does end, as you very quickly become very good at picking up the balls with your feet! Also a cool little trick!)

You should try to practice as often as you can, but this shouldn’t be a chore! If it does turn into a resentment then you really wont get

anywhere. I found that I practiced and started to get really bored after getting nowhere, then one day you sustain the pattern for awhile and that’s it I was totally hooked. Practicing ten fold to try and do it again! I am exactly the same with learning to do juggling tricks.

Basic juggling really doesn’t or shouldn’t take a long time to learn, but will take a long time to master! Just make sure you are having fun.
